There are situations when you are unable to reinstall your Office software. Here are some troubleshooting ways that will help you in eliminating all the errors facing while executing the Reinstall Office process.

  1. The major point you need to consider is that the previous Office should be uninstalled completely. As if the previous Office file still exists on your device, you will face errors while reinstalling. Further, if you are using the Uninstall Support tool to delete the setup file and facing issues, ensure that you have downloaded the tool from the Microsoft support page rather than an unidentified developer or third-party website.
  2. As you need to provide the product key code while reinstalling the Office application, make sure you enter the correct activation code. If not, you will see the “Unlicensed Product” error. You can review the keycode on your order confirmation mail, retail card, or by accessing your registered account.
  3. While performing the “Office Reinstall” process, assure that you are selecting the correct Operating System and version. If the OS version selected is incorrect, the software will not run for installation and show you “The file can’t open” error.
